For the 2010 show opener we went with a simple motion graphic animation to present our sponsors and open the festival.  When it came time to create the intro animation for 2011, we immediately jumped on the thought of going with a more complex character driven story.  After some initial design and character development sessions, Cal was our chosen mascot.  It gave us a perfect opportunity to get back to the roots of why we started our company...and to share our hard work with people that love animation.
